It’s that time of year when utility prices are rising throughout Southern California. Due to this, starting June 2 at 6 a.m., you’ll see an increase our price to $.56/kWh.

We know that these changes can add up. So to help you avoid peak charging costs, we are launching Lightning Savings - automatic savings during non-peak hours on our CCS & CHAdeMO chargers.

FAQ

  • Lightning Savings is only available on Rove’s 12 CCS & CHAdeMO plugs.

    Current pricing on the 28 Tesla Superchargers is available in the Tesla app.

  • Eligible Savings are determined by the session start time and will be applied to full kWh dispensed during the same session.

    For example: If you plug in at 3:58 p.m., and end at 4:30 p.m., an 8¢ /kWh savings will be applied to the total kWh dispensed.

  • Visit RoveCharging.com/Centers or the Locations tab in the Rove App to find your closest center.

    Our full-service centers are also listed on most major charging directories like Google Maps, PlugShare and Apple Maps.

  • No extra steps needed. Lightning Savings is automatically applied to all purchases made on Rove chargers during the eligible hours.

  • No. We believe that discounts should be available to all chargers. Whether you’re using the app or tap-to-pay, the discount will be applied automatically at check out.

  • The Lightning Savings applied during your charge is available in two places, depending on how you start your charge.

    App Account Users

    Your discount will be confirmed throughout your sessions via the app and your total savings will be available via your receipt available at the end of your charge or in your Account.

    Tap-To-Pay

    Scan the QR code available on the credit card terminal at the end of your sessions. Your receipt can also be requested by emailing the time and # of your charge to support@rovecharging.com.

  • On-site Rove Charging Support teammates will be available to answer any questions during peak hours.
