Rove is on a mission to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) with a better charging experience. We are expanding our footprint across Southern California and we're seeking a Senior Manager of Finance & Strategy to join our team.
This role is pivotal for our expansion strategy, conducting financial underwriting, investment analysis, and capital planning for new charging infrastructure. You will manage the company’s core financial models and drive the development of investment committee materials, board presentations, budgets, and pro forma analyses to inform critical real estate and infrastructure decisions.
Partnering closely with Real Estate, Development, and Executive Leadership, you will evaluate and prioritize site opportunities, build structured decision frameworks, and ensure capital deployment across our rollout strategy. This is a highly visible role with meaningful cross-functional impact. It is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a lean, high-growth environment and wants direct influence on where and how we scale.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Develop and manage financial underwriting for new charging stations, emphasizing investment-related analysis such as investment committee memorandums, board materials, budgets, and pro forma cash flow analysis.
Present comprehensive financial forecasts, underwriting details, and insights to management and investors utilizing visually engaging reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Partner in strategizing site selection, evaluating location identification and financial underwriting and demonstrating a keen interest in real estate dynamics; manages the deal process including landlord management and contract negotiations.
Lead finance modeling projects, encompassing planning, tracking, and reporting, emphasizing the financial considerations in project execution.
Collaborate across departments to emphasize data-driven decision-making, with a focus on supporting initiatives related to station rollout strategies.
Serve as the point of contact for investor inquiries regarding financial projections, ensuring clarity and accuracy in provided information.
Support annual budgeting process in partnership with the VP of Finance & Real Estate and Controller, ensuring alignment between growth strategy and financial targets.
Conduct comprehensive data analysis from diverse sources, identifying trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, driving operational efficiency enhancements and facilitating informed decision-making processes.
Inspire trust and confidence in the ability to deliver through clear and proactive communication, customer empathy, and reliable execution.
Contribute to a culture of financial rigor and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required: MBA or other master’s degree preferred.
6+ years of demonstrated experience in real estate or corporate transaction teams
Demonstrated experience in executing and managing transactions within the real estate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting fields.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience presenting to executive leadership, investment committees, or institutional investors.
Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills.

The Project Manager will own the full lifecycle of multiple EV charging station deployments, from initial site due diligence through construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance. Our projects are primarily urban infill developments in Orange County and Los Angeles, often with a retail component, and each one requires a steady hand coordinating across a wide range of stakeholders.
You will coordinate across cities, landowners, contractors, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), utilities, tenants, and customers, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and projects continue moving forward on schedule. The right candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and relentlessly detail-oriented, with the communication skills to move complex projects forward on schedule and on budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Manage the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of multiple EV charging station projects in parallel, from due diligence and entitlements through design, construction, energization, and long-term O&M.
Serve as Rove's primary point of contact with cities, planning departments, landowners, general contractors, subcontractors, AHJs, utilities (SCE, LADWP, SDG&E), tenants, and retail partners.
Represent Rove before city councils, planning commissions, and other public bodies as needed to advance entitlements and permitting.
Review technical drawings, plan sets, and submittals for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with Rove's standards and lessons learned.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registers; proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact critical path.
Coordinate multi-discipline teams across civil, electrical, structural, and utility workstreams.
Track project financials against budget and contribute to financial model inputs and forecasts.
Manage vendor and contractor performance, including scope, change orders, invoicing, and close-out.
Capture lessons learned and feed them back into Rove's standards and playbooks.

LOCATION: LOS ANGELES / ORANGE COUNTY
Construction Manager to oversee the development and delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the greater Los Angeles and Orange County region. This is a hands-on, field-facing role that requires a technically rigorous professional who can manage multiple concurrent construction workstreams with precision, clear communication, and strong organizational discipline. The Construction Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day interface between Rove’s internal team and external contractors, vendors, and equipment providers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict conformance with design intent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Serve as the primary point of contact for civil and electrical contractors, general contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers on all active construction projects.
Coordinate daily field activities across multiple project sites, ensuring work sequencing is logical, dependencies are managed, and resources are deployed efficiently.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans to verify that field construction aligns with design intent; flag and escalate discrepancies immediately.
Negotiate and evaluate change orders, including scope, cost, and schedule impact analysis; provide recommendations to leadership with appropriate supporting documentation.
Develop and maintain project schedules, track contractor progress against baseline timelines, identify variances, and drive corrective action when projects fall behind.
Support procurement activities including vendor qualification, scope of work review, and purchase order coordination in collaboration with the broader project team.
Generate clear, accurate, and timely construction reports for the executive team, covering project status, budget tracking, schedule performance, open issues, and risk items.
Participate in design review meetings and constructability assessments to identify potential field conflicts prior to construction.
Maintain organized project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspection records, and close-out materials.
Conduct regular site walks and inspections to monitor quality of work and enforce safety standards.
Engage with the City and other AHJ’s to ensure regulatory compliance and issuance of permits pertinent at various stages in the project life cycle.
