Autocharge lets you start charging just by plugging in. Register your vehicle once and it's recognized automatically at every Rove charger — no app, no card, no tapping.

In the Rove app, create an account, then add your vehicle. Finish setup at any Rove charger, where the app will guide you through each step. It's a one-time process.

No. Once Autocharge is active, you don't need your phone to start a session — just plug in.

You can end your session two ways:
In the app. Stop remotely if you're enjoying the center and not ready to head back to your car.
At the charger. Just unplug when you're done, no phone required."

Autocharge works across a broad range of EV brands, including many older EVs. Check the current supported-vehicle list above before setup.

You can still attempt setup. We'll let you know if your model isn't supported, but we won't block you. If it doesn't work, you can always charge with tap-to-pay or the app.

Yes. Autocharge links to your Rove account and payment method, so you'll want both set up before you begin. It’s free to set up and use.
