The Basics of the Audi e-tron
The Audi e-tron line of electric vehicles uses the CCS plug configuration, with options allowing for various power and speeds of charging ranging from Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging, which provides the fastest available speeds the charge your electric vehicle.

How to Charge
To begin charging the vehicle, drive to a charging location with a CCS plug configuration. Note, that the port is typically located just behind the front wheel well.
STEP 1
Turn off your car.
STEP 2
Press the open button near the port to open the protective covering to expose the charging port.
STEP 3
Select the CCS plug from the charger and plug it into the port.
To use a DC Fast Charger, you may need to remove an additional plug that covers the bottom 2 pins.
101 TIPS:
You should hear a click when the plug is connected properly. That may require some pressure.
It’s always a good idea to check the plug for any damage before.
STEP 4
Initiate the charging session from the charging terminal or your Rove app.
TIP: A light next to the charging will turn on, indicating the charge has started.
STEP 5
Monitor the progress of your charge from inside your vehicle’s dashboard or vehicle’s smartphone app.
Download the Rove app on Apple or Google Play.
THE 101 AT ROVE
At Rove, you can use the Rove app, which is available in the App and Google Play store, to start, end, and monitor the progress of your charge. Convenience in the palm of your hand.
STEP 6
Once your fast charge is complete, unlock the plug from your vehicle by pushing the release button near the plug port.
Wait for the light to turn off before removing the plug.
Charging Tips
Based on the formula of the e-Tron battery, it’s recommended to regularly charge it to 80% at DC Fast Chargers.
e-Trons are one of a few cars compatible with the Supercharger Magic Dock, which allows them to charge at these chargers when an adapter is available.

The e-tron has an infotainment system called Audi Connect that offers remote vehicle services, navigation, driving data, and roadside assistance.
It also has e-torque vectoring, which distributes torque to the rear wheel for better traction and agility.
Battery
The e-tron's batteries are made up of individual modules that can be replaced or serviced separately, which can reduce maintenance costs.
Towing Capacity
If added, the tow package allows you to use the e-tron’s 4,000-pound towing capacity.
