This April, Santa Ana went electric — and we couldn’t be more charged up about the incredible community support we saw throughout National Drive Electric Earth Month, a nationwide campaign celebrating electric vehicles (EVs) and their role in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future.
All month long, EV drivers and locals came together at Rove - Santa Ana to test drive new EVs and enjoy fresh eats.
Test Drives Powered by the Latest & Greatest in EVs
Throughout April, Rove - Santa Ana hosted a series of EV test drive events, allowing everyone to get behind the wheel of the latest electric vehicles. From compact commuters to sleek crossovers, guests got a firsthand feel for the quiet power and smooth performance that EVs are known for. We were blown away by how many of you showed up — your curiosity, questions, and enthusiasm.
Recharge and Refresh with Gelson’s
No one left hungry either. Rove’s ReCharge Market by Gelson’s was a favorite stop for guests, offering everything from cold drinks to local snacks. During the month-long celebration, anyone who spent $15 or more at ReCharge picked up a free micro tote bag, and they went fast! It was just a small thank-you for supporting local and making Rove Santa Ana a community destination.
The One & Only CyberTruck
First up, EV enthusiasts had the chance to check out the Cybertruck. Representatives were available to answer questions and allow everyone to pile inside the roomy interior.
The Incomparable Vinfast VF8 & VF9
Rove EV Drive Days returned for a second week for drivers to get behind the wheel and test drive the latest VinFast models. Known for their instant torque, smart tech, sleek design, and impressive range, we had a blast in the rain checking out their latest lineup of mid-size EVs.
EV Luxury In Your Hands with Lucid
We wrapped up Drive Electric Earth Month with a showstopper. On Sunday, May 5, Rove Santa Ana hosted its final test drive event of the season — featuring none other than Lucid, one of the most luxurious and cutting-edge electric vehicle brands on the market.
Drivers were treated to a premium behind-the-wheel experience that captured the future of EVs in motion. It was a fitting close to a month of connection, learning, and serious horsepower (without the emissions).
